摇滚音乐人潘易为了追逐心中梦想离家闯荡，成名后被小人设计陷害，无奈返回老家向父亲潘炳业寻求经济帮助。潘炳业不愿坚持了一辈子的皮影戏没落，将钱拿去办皮影学校却被骗。父子二人在潘易女友兼经纪人白珍妮的帮助下逐渐消除心中隔阂，并与众多朋友一起，以摇滚乐加皮影戏的独特表演形式成功赢得市艺术节名额。。Inspired by W.G. Is it possible to justify mass destruction for the sake of higher “moral” ideals?
