The Nativity is a 2010 British four-part drama television series. The series is a re-telling of the nativity and was broadcast on BBC One and BBC HD across four days, starting on 20 December 2010. It was rebroadcast in two hour-long parts on the mornings of 24 and 25 December 2011.
The series stars Tatiana Maslany as Mary| Andrew Buchan as Joseph| Neil Dudgeon as Joachim| Claudie Blakley as Anna| Peter Capaldi as Balthasar and John Lynch as Gabriel.。一对老夫妇在村里过着平静祥和的生活，大儿子住在身边，小儿子在国外工作。两人家里的旧电视坏了，儿子给他们搬来了一台新电视，也给他们的生活带来了变化。儿子们的最终目标是想拆除老人居住的旧房子，盖一栋新房子。而年迈的父母不希望熟悉的事物发生变化，不希望他们的宝贵家园被毁。两代人的斗争将事件推向了最高点。。
